To protect the interests of the users, to avoid malicious price dump and the losses caused to users, Bibox decided to limit the order range. Generally speaking, the normal range of market transactions is within 3 to 5 percent. 

However, when there is a large price discrepancy between the latest strike price and the spot index, Bibox shall limit the range of the transaction, but not affect the normal buying and selling orders, and the price limit mechanism will be adjusted in real time as the market fluctuations to protect the investment safety of our users fundamentally.

 

BTC contract price limit mechanism

General situation

1.The market order is within 3% of the Index price.

2.Highest buying order price = Index price (1 + 3% + 0.5%), lowest price = Index price (1-25%).

3.Lowest selling order price = Index price (1-3% - 0.5%), highest price = Index price (1 + 25%).

Exceptions: If basis | Index price – latest transaction price | > 3%.

1.The mark order boundary is +-1.5% of the latest transaction price.

2.Highest buying order price = Max (Index price (1 + 3%), latest transaction price (1+1.5%)); Lowest price = Index price (1-15%).

3.Lowest selling order price = Min (Index price (1-3%), latest transaction price(1-1.5%)); Highest price = Index price (1 + 15%).

* The maximum number of BTC orders is 10 BTC.

 

ETH contract price limit mechanism

General situation

1.The market order is within 5% of the Index price.

2.Highest buying order price = Index price (1 + 5%+0.5%), lowest price = Index price (1-25%).

3.Lowest selling order price = Index price (1-5%-0.5%), highest price = Index price (1 + 25%).

Exceptions: If basis | Index price –  latest transaction price | > 5%.

1.The mark order boundary is +-2.5% of the latest price.

2.Highest buying order price = Max (Index price (1 + 5%), latest transaction price (1+2.5%)); Lowest price = Index price (1-15%).

3.Lowest selling order price = Min (Index price (1-5%), latest transaction price (1-2.5%)); Highest price = Index price (1 + 15%).

* The maximum number of ETH orders is 200 ETH.
